Escape to Cumbria and stay at Kirkland Cottage, situated in the quiet village of Kirkland, a good base for exploring the Cumbrian and Solway coasts, including St Bees, the Georgian port of Whitehaven and the 'gem' town of Cockermouth, childhood home of the poet Wordsworth. Built around 1870, Kirkland Cottage has 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with bunk bed, bath/shower, lounge, kitchen & dining area.

All very clutter free, just what you need on holiday to help you relax.

Electric underfloor heating (electricity is included), bed linen & towels are provided. Electric cooker & hob. Fridge, microwave, digital LCD TV & DVD Roadside parking. Small outdoor seating area to front and rear. Park & children`s play area less than 2 minutes walk away. High chair available on request.

Exterior
The cottage, built around 1870, is in the quiet village of Kirkland, near Ennerdale. There is a small seating area to both the front and rear of the building.



Lounge
The clean & cosy lounge, with sofa, LCD TV and DVD player. The cottage has thermostatically controlled electric underfloor heating throughout.



Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, electric oven & hob, kettle, toaster & fridge



Main bedroom
The main bedroom, to the front, has a double bed, fitted carpet and clothes hanging space, again it has underfloor heating.



Second bedroom
The second bedroom, to the rear, has a full sized bunk bed.



Dining
Part of the kitchen is a dining area for four. There is an additional table and seating for two, in the rear section of the kichen.
